The fishing today on Lake Grapevine was awesome! The morning started off fairly slow but we found fish scholling just West of the island in the mouth of McPherson Slough and we caught fish there for several hours. When that finally slowed down I moved us back across the lake to the Murrell Park and the fish were schoolng there as well and we finished our trip and limit there. The fish were holding on the bottom in 21 feet of water or less and then in the deeper water from 25 to 30 feet the White Bass would suspend around 14 to 22 feet deep and couldbe caught swimming the slab up through them.Lead Babies were working very well in the Pee Wee model in just about any color you used. The water is in the mid 80's and very clear.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
