F I S H I N G R E P O R T S:
June 4, 2011
The fishing was great today. It took me awhile to find them but once I did it was great. Fished a lot of the usual places and either found just a few fish or a big crowd. There has been some schooling right at daylight but we got started after that and found some fish on top in front of Holiday. My customers were throwing spoons or sassy shads and caught fish on both at first.
I finally found a big hungry school on a secondary point around 9:30 and it was on! We caught around 100 fish in the next two hours. We had a LOT of under Hybrids, 1 break off and one at the boat around 10 - 12 pounds before it threw the hook as I lowered the net. All of our fish after 9:30 were caught on Lead Babies in the Chartreuse Glo/Glitter pattern in the PeeWee or Li'l Shad size. It was a blast watching the young lady in the picture catch fish for the first time on a boat. She wasn't too sure at first but when the fish started biting she got her confidence real quick. Water temp was in the upper 70's and clear (for Tawakoni), Lots of boat traffic and lots of people at the ramps. We had lots of 14 to 16" fish today, 2 catfish and 6 big yellows. I have some weekdays left in June for anyone wanting to get some action on big White Bass.
Remember we are - "the only LUCK you'll ever need!"
The happy anglers!
Look Twins! You can even see the Lead Babies in their mouths.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
