Tawakoni, March 19, 2008 The fishing was a little tough today. We had lots of bites but very few hookups. I had my good friend John and his boys with me today and they are tough fishermen. We started off near the dam and did manage a few nice Hybrids ad Stripers. It got too slow there so I tried moving us around the lake with little results. All eth recent rains and wind have made it tough. The water was in the mid to upper 50’s and stained. We caught fish primarily on Sassy Shads and the new Squirmin’ Sardine from Bass Pro Shops. These even accounted for some catfish! Hopefully the rains and wind will decrease soon! E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway. |
