What a stormy day! My customers today were Tom Post and his son Jeremy. If not for the lightning we would have more than likely stayed with it. Jeremy was a real tough cookie for only nine years old. Don Novak was along for the RIDE and I do mean RIDE as well.
We got on the water for a brief period between storms and Tom did manage to get one hookup on a Sassy Shad before the lightning drove us back in. Or was it the 30 mile and hour tailwind into the marina!
Anyway it was good to see some of you guys out there that day giving it a try. On days when you have that kind of wind without the lightning as a tip always use the heaviest jig head your rods will handle. This will give you more control and “feel” of the bait.
Oh well, Tom said when he comes back to town for some baseball games he will let me take him out again.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
