This was the best day yet since I was fishing with my friend Sharon Wilson, her husband Phillip and the fish Magnet also known as Harley.
We fished some humps near where fish had been schooling the day before and after only one Drum moved onto the rocks again. The wind made it tough to stay far enough off not to spook the fish. We were using the same baits as Saturday except this time it was the dual injected white and chartreuse glitter that did some minor damage. Harley “ the fish magnet” was the only angler to come away with a catch. Harley caught one really nice Striper between 4 and 5 pounds and a great Sand Bass. We pretty quickly agreed that enough was enough and moved out into even heavier winds and anchored off of Terrill pump station. The fishing was good enough here that it even surprised me! In about an hour and a half we caught 2 keeper Hybrids and 35 nice Sand Bass. We used the same slabs and techniques as the last two days, and end our day around Noon.
E-mail me if I can be of any use or help to you in anyway.
